About

Joshua Hardy (Republican) is a Warren County local, who graduated from Greenwood High School, and continued on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from WKU.

After spending over a decade as a software engineer, Hardy set his sights to become a professional real estate investor, and property manager. By serving others, Hardy quickly began gaining success in the real estate industry. It was then, Hardy started to think about how he could use his knowledge and experience in real estate, to serve and improve his community more. Realizing how important the responsibilities for the role of Property Valuation Administrator are, and confident that based upon his background in both information technology and real estate he could provide a much improved service to the people in his community.

It was upon the belief of providing superior service that Hardy set out to become the next Warren County, Kentucky PVA. Interestingly, in order to be Kentucky PVA, a qualifying exam is required. On his first attempt, Hardy passed the PVA qualification exam in November 2021 and entered into the world of politics by filing to run for PVA for the 2022-2026 term.

Top Priorities

Accurate Assessments

Following best industry practices to gather accurate assessments.

And taking the appropriate effort and care for case by case circumstances.

Up to Date

Focused on providing up to date information.

The transaction information for when a house is purchased/sold, should be up to date, within days; not three to four months behind.

Transparency

Eliminate fees to view public information on the website.

Other counties in Kentucky have figured it out. We can too! It is the people's data, and the people should have free and unfettered access to their data.

Customer Service

Excellent customer service.

I believe in government of the people, by the people, for the people. The government exists to serve the will of the people. Therefore, government officials should carry out their duties with the highest levels of respect and courtesy.
